Good Day my lovelies. I got this palette for valentines day and I wanted to speak to you about it. I took the pictures of this palette on my new camera so by all means, zoom in get right in there, the quality is just perfect. Btw J (the male) didn't buy me this off the cuff, he just gave me his debit card and I did an internet dilly dally and searched for a discount code. Found one on The Daily Mail, they do discount codes for most online retailers! Check them out if you wanna save money on Cult Beauty.
I used YOU15 for 15% off.
As with ANY promo code, you have to login to use it and can only use one per order, so I will have to go back into promo land to find myself another.
The formula is buttery, especially the foil type shadows, but they are better being applied with fingertips than a flat brush, I need to get a synthetic eyeshadow base brush to see how this performs as it took a few swipes of my fluffy flat shader to grab this. The shades are pretty dark, out of all the palettes Jaclyn did I think the shades in this one have less range but more glitter range.

It retails for £15 which I think is pretty fantastic for the shades and they work pretty well on the skin.

Siren for example, has tiny bits of reflex in,
Bomb Ass is fine glitter, a coral with fine pink reflex
Lolli is a mauve pink with gold
On Camera is a beautiful chunky foil gold
Boom is a dark deep coppery foil shade

The rest are matte and blend out like they never existed on your skin.
The picture on the CULT Beauty website look a bit different to mine, in that the yellow in On Camera is exemplified. Mine however is done on a black background and I used flash in a dark room. I still stand by that the shade range out of all the other palettes is narrower, however it is a lovely warm palette and something I wanted to play around with was chunky foil shadows.

I wanted to create a few eye looks with this and I've been enjoying warm tones on me at the minute with the cold whether. With every single one of these shadows I did the same routine, I prepped my eyelids with some white Get Set Eye shadow Base from W7 cosmetics and I set this with Illamasqua setting powder so it didn't crease. Then I laid it all down. This was to create consistency across the board.

Mind the Tash, I've forgot to shave
This look was created using 5 of the Shades, Rush, Alert, Framed to gradually deepen the crease, then Lolli on the lid area. A dark brown eyeliner for the wing and Anastasia Dip Brow in Soft Brown.

Foundation was L'Oreal Paris Infallible Total Cover Foundation in Porcelain.
Blush- Benefit Rockatur I honestly didn't know this blusher was £20+ I got it from my mum when she went on holiday and bought me a mini set, this was in it. It's my ride or die blush, I don't know how I haven't hit pan yet.

If you liked this eye-look and heck if you have this palette let me know your thoughts, share a link with me in the comments or your twitter handle. I love reading blogs as much as I like writing this one!
