Job Interview Makeup
Today ( Sat 19th Jan) I had a job interview and got it against 4 others that applied.
This is the make up I wore to it :)
FoundationAvon Colour Trend in Near Nude
I have 4 types of foundation that I change daily, depending on my skin that day, my face was being pleasant today and not as dry as it usually is.
I use this when my face is normal because its creamy and quite sticky, but it blends in perfectly.

Price wise its fabulous, obviously if you wear makeup everyday it will run out due to it being only 30ml but thats the same as you get with MAC, but this stuff is sticky so its not as workable as MAC.
Consistency is dewy at first but sinks in matte.
I apply it with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush.
Blush
Topshop Head over heals
I only use cream blushes, they seam to last better on my dry skin than powder.
Apply it to tops of my cheekbones all the way up to tops of my ears to make it look like I have high cheekbones
I didn't contour today because I wanted to look rosy and flushed instead of arched and fierce.
I applied my blusher with the Real Techniques Contour Brush as its just the right size, I prefer smaller blusher brushes because you can be more creative with your blusher and add dimensions of colour.
Eyes
I received what is believed to be a MAC palette for Xmas 2011 and I have used that for my eye shadow.
I Absolutely love it and I used a generic Eye Shadow brush with synthetic bristles to put the base colour on and a Real Technique Base eye-shadow brush to put in the crease colour.
The reason I use the real technique brush for crease is because the shape is tapered and looks like a MAC 217 which I couldn't find so I used that instead.
Eyebrows
I filled in my eyebrows the shade in-between those in the palette with the real techniques brow brush.

I dip it in Vaseline first because it gives it a better finish on the brows and if you can see close on the palette there is a line were I draw into it to pick the colour up.
This brown colour is a very warm brown so it suits my red hair quite well.
I applied mascara and was ready to meet my new employers
